Thursday, Aug. 5th, we will have a short HS Graduation Planning Presentation for interested students & parents in the HS Gym. Freshman/Sophomore Classes - 5:30 pm and Junior/Senior Classes @ 6 pm. For those unable to attend, we will post informational slide shows on our website.

Cross Country started today! We had 10 runners show up and looking forward to more coming. We will be practicing again at the lake at 7 A.M. tomorrow.
Remember tomorrow HS (grades 8-12) band’s preseason camp starts back up! We start at 8 am and will end at 2 pm. Students need to bring sunscreen, water and lunch money. They will also need to wear light, athletic clothing and SHOES! See you then!

We are gearing up and getting ready for a great year! August 10th will be our Meet the Teacher Night. The elementary will begin at 6:00, and the middle/high school will begin at 6:30. At 7:00 there will be an ice cream social downtown sponsored by the EC Chamber of Commerce. Our first day of school will be August 11th. On Thursday, August 12th we will host Meet the Badgers at Wheeler Field at 7:30. Following Meet the Badgers we will gather at the Elmore City Lake for a Back to School Bonfire at 8:45. See you there!

Our ECP Cheer Teams went to J&C Cheer Camp this past weekend in Norman. Both teams excelled and received special awards and recognition. Our ECPHS Cheer Team won Powerful Pyramid Award. Dallie Sherwood placed in the top 3 of Top Gun Motions - Senior Division. Our ECPJH Cheer Team won Perfect Performance Award. ECPJH swept the Top Gun Motions - 8th grade division: Jyntree Patterson, Karli Meadows, and Jade Cook, with Karli winning 1st overall. Jyntree Patterson, Karli Meadows, Jade Cook, Kara Busey, Austynn Duley, Righley Martinez, Kynlee Patterson, Dara Howard, Trinity Taylor, Dallie Sherwood, Laci Lewis, Courtney Thompson, and Tori Niblett made the All-Star Team. They qualify for a bid to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in NYC! Coach Angela Sawyer commented, "Some of these girls have tried out and made the All-Star Team every year. For others, this was their first time to make All-Star!" Both HS and JH teams received a Dynamite Stick for having great attitudes and working hard. We are very proud of our ECP Badger Cheer Teams!
Diploma packets are ready for pickup. If you have library books out or textbooks, those must be turned in before diplomas will be released.
Pickup Tuesday through Friday (this week only) 8 to 12. Beginning next Monday, June 7 offices will be closed on Fridays.
